SO,   WHAT DO YOU THINK OF  IT?

One of the main reasons for this website is to find out what people think.    Everyone who writes music or is involved in any kind of creative art obviously has conviction in what they do  -  that's the driving force  -  but it's always good to find out what other people think as well.    It can be difficult to get unbiased feedback unless you're fortunate enough to have your work exposed to a large commercial market  -  and of course,  in the case of music,  that's unlikely to happen unless you write the kind of music that record companies deem popular.    Fortunately,  with the advent of the Internet,  anyone with a PC can now expose their work to a wider audience,  but my view is that there's very little point in that if you don't give people the opportunity to tell you what they thought of it when they did listen.    So,  here's your chance!    Whether you want to comment on the style of the music,  the lyrics,  the musicianship,  the quality of the recording  ( given that mp3's are never the best possible representation of any given work in any case,  but still ),  the production  -  or even for that matter,  the website!  -  this is your chance to do just that.    Any and all feedback is appreciated,  so whatever you want to say,  good or bad,  I want to hear it.    I'd like to think I'm too broad-shouldered to be mortally wounded by criticism,  but not too arrogant to learn from it.

For convenience and simplicity's sake I've produced this form.    Obviously none of the fields are mandatory  -  after all,  you're doing me a favour by giving me your opinion!  -  but it does make it easier for me to build some sort of demographic.    If you want to leave your e-mail address,  that's fine,  and if not that's fine too.    In the "name" field,  if you decide to fill it in at all,  you can just enter whatever name you like to be known by if you prefer not to enter your real name.    This is not the F. B. I.,  and you won't find yourself suddenly flooded with junk e-mail asking you if you want a low-cost mortgage.    Well,  no more so than you already do,  anyway!
