Several of the people who have contributed to the material on this site or are otherwise relevant to it,  either do not have websites of their own,  or have asked that I provide details and / or contact information only on request,  and of course I am happy to oblige.    For that reason I must emphasise that any of my friends,  fellow musicians or vocalists whose names do not appear here,  are absent either at their own request or because they do not have a website or point of reference for me to provide a link to.    Their absence from this page is certainly not intended as any reflection of my humble opinion of their musical abilities or the extent to which they have been a part of my life and my music.

Those who have expressed their willingness to be featured on this page appear below.    I'll try to keep the information updated to the best of my ability,  but obviously I'm reliant upon the parties involved to let me know of any changes.    If anyone becomes aware of any changes that are not reflected on this page,  broken links etc.,  please let me know using the form on the Feedback page.

I know what you're thinking  :  he's my son,  so I'm bound to say good things about him.    Well,  anyone reading this who has children of their own will know that raising them is a unique adventure,  and that's been true of all of mine,  not least Richard.    We've had our differences during his teenage years,  as all families do,  but one thing that has never changed is my admiration for the single-minded determination with which he's learned his craft.    Richard was about thirteen when he first picked up a pair of drumsticks,  and once again,  most parents will know that the likelihood of a thirteen-year-old persevering with something as demanding as learning to play a musical instrument is not great,  to say the least.    Occasionally there are exceptions,  of course,  and I'm proud to say that Richard is one of those.    His willingness and ability to learn  -  entirely of his own volition,  I should add  -  did him credit,  to the extent that by the ripe old age of seventeen he had become the full-time drummer for the band Dellow,  as it then was.    In the four years since Dellow disbanded,  he's continued to learn and improve,  constantly expanding his kit to slake that thirst for power that all drummers seem born with!    Using our studio at home and his own computer equipment,  he's recorded various material of his own as well as playing drums on several of the tracks featured on this website.    If you'd like to listen to some of that material and find out more about what Richard is up to,  either click on his name or the picture,  or go to http://www.ukundergroundsound.com .

I first met Gary in the summer of 1998,  at which time he became the third member of what was to become Flash,  and later Terra Nova and finally Dellow.    His contribution to the band was more than just playing bass,  in that he introduced us to longtime friend,  guitarist Lee Brown.    Although for personal reasons Gary left and re-joined the band twice over the four years of it's life,  he and Lee were nevertheless cornerstones of the musical sound that ultimately defined us.    Having played bass guitar for most of his life,  and having also played in a variety of bands over the years  ( both before and since Dellow )  Gary is an experienced and talented player who would be a credit and an asset to any lineup.    Gary is one of those relatively rare individuals within the music business who actually does what he says he's going to do,  and the only reason that I've never yet known him to turn up anywhere on time is because he's invariably between ten and thirty minutes early.    "Never knowingly under-rehearsed"  would also be an appropriate phrase to use in describing Gary,  having repeatedly demonstrated the ability to learn anything from the Corrs to Dream Theatre,  entirely by ear.    Since leaving the band,  he's been involved in a number of other musical ventures,  having recently been recording some of his own material,  which at the time of writing  ( March 2006 )  has just been published to his website.    I know that if Gary were to choose a single phrase to best sum himself up,  it would be  "All Or Nothing"  ( also the name of one of his songs ... ! )  and anyone who knows him well would entirely endorse that choice.    Anything Gary involves himself in will have one hundred percent commitment,  one hundred percent of the time.    If you'd like to know more,  and hear some of the material he's been recording recently,  either click on his name or on the picture to take you directly to his new website,  http://www.biscuitandbass.co.uk .

I first met Lola after she answered the Loot ad for singers,  and by fortuitous coincidence,  it just so happened that the song for which I needed a vocalist at that particular time was  'Spooky'.    The timing couldn't have been better  :  Lola had the perfect silky smoothness in her voice to emulate the original feel that only Dusty Springfield ever truly had.    If you do a Google search on Lola's name,  you'll come up with quite a wide assortment of choices,  but the one I've linked to from this page is http://www.myspace.com/lolaedun .    Her beauty is self-evident,  and it will probably come as no surprise that Lola has worked as a model;  but unlike some,  Lola has no need to trade off her stunning good looks  :  her voice,  pardon the pun,  speaks for itself.    Her track record,  both as a solo artist and in a band context,  bears witness to this lady's talent,  and the various testimonies on the  'myspace'  website will tell you that I'm not alone in my opinion.    Not just a huge talent,  but a very pleasant person to work with  -  and as any musician or producer will tell you,  that's a combination to be treasured.

Tamiya's background is nothing if not riveting reading,  as you can find out by visiting her website at http://www.thecircusspace.co.uk/tamiya .    Having lived at various points throughout her life in places as far flung as Vancouver,  Los Angeles,  Tokyo and London,  and listing amongst her musical influences such names as Prince,  Aerosmith,  The Beatles,  Queen,  Led Zeppelin,  and in later years the likes of Extreme,  The Cult and Pearl Jam,  it would be fair to describe Tamiya's tastes and background as  'eclectic' !    She answered the Loot ad at a time when I was looking,  among other things,  for a vocalist to sing  'Every Breath You Take',  and you can hear the excellent results for yourself on the  'Covered Up'  page.

If Eve's vocal work on  "I Don't Know You Any More"  and  "Over The Rainbow"  aren't enough to convince you,  I strongly advise you to visit her website at http://www.everobertson.co.uk and have a listen to some of the tracks there  -  my own personal favourite is  "Empty Hearts",  a beautiful song beautifully rendered.    Eve hails from Essex,  England,  and has an impressive list of qualifications,  both academic and musical,  including a BSc in Maths  ( supported by a string of  A-levels ),  accreditations in Music Theory,  Piano and Flute,  and distinctions up to Grade VII in Royal Associated Board singing examinations.    Smart,  attractive and a fantastic singer  :  not a bad start to any CV,  but if that is not testimony enough,  I can assure the reader from personal experience that her pitch,  range and purity of voice are eclipsed only by her professional attitude and desire to  "get it right".    Aside from having generously given of her time to help me out with  "I Don't Know You Any More",  and later  "Over The Rainbow",  she has had a wealth of both studio and live experience,  as detailed in greater depth on her own website.    This brief biog doesn't do full justice to Eve's talent and ability  :  visit her website and see for yourself.    If you're looking for a bright,  vibrant young singer,  you won't get much better than this.

Liz was one of the many people to answer the Loot ad for singers,  and like Lola,  her timing was excellent inasmuch as I was looking for singers to do the  'Friends'  theme at the time.    Having expected that it would probably end up being done with British singers doing an American accent,  I was delighted when I first heard Liz's lilting Ohio twang.    As you can see from her bio at http://www.lizwagener.com,  Liz has been singing since early childhood,  mostly in musicals,  having been a member of the Young Rep Roadshow and touring throughout Northwestern Ohio and Southeastern Michigan for eight years.    As you can see from the other notes on this page,  I've had the good fortune to work with a number of artists who combine vocal ability with both looks and intelligence,  and Liz is no exception.    A Bachelor of Science in Psychology,  Liz has also won a number of titles in varying beauty pageants,  as well as having written over thirty songs  -  six of which have been recorded in Nashville,  Tennessee,  no less.
